The Update

I don’t really blog, but i wanted to give an update on what I’ve been up to, and what is in the near future. 

So if you have been keeping up with my recent posts on social media, you might have noticed this “Dallas” theme. On June 4th, I’m headed down to Dallas, Texas to compete in one of IStandard’s Producer Showcases. I’ve been killing myself working to create just 5 beats I can take with me to showcase my different genres of music. I would like to think that I have an advantage in the Electronica/Trap Music genres especially. However I do have a couple samples that I’ve been working on to keep that soulful shit in Hip-Hop. 

This is a tremendous opportunity for me and my business to have a chance to network and share ideas with other producers and artists. 

It seems like I have a lot of focus on this trip (and I do), but I have been working with a few local rappers around the Kansas City and Lawrence area. I am still trying to hustle through the internet, and I’m still trying to learn!!!

More in depth on the music tho….

I’m having A LOT of fun fuckin’ with this Electro shit. I’m still trying to figure out this Dub, and I’m still on those Trap Bangers! AYE! 

Even though I feel like I’ve been busy, I know I can still put a lot more work in to get better throughout this summer. Hopefully this trip to the Big D will help propel my profession further. And hopefully South House Beats can get up in that spotlight. Wish me luck. #SHB
